Volleyball Recap: Altoona-Midway Takes a Loss

Altoona-Midway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Eureka Tornadoes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2017.

Altoona-Midway may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Altoona-Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17-1. As for Eureka, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altoona-Midway will square off against Uniontown on Tuesday. As for Eureka, they will look to defend their home court on the 14th against Humboldt at 5:00 p.m.
