Baseball Recap: Laredo LBJ Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Laredo LBJ's offense. They came up short against the Eagle Pass Eagles on Tuesday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Laredo LBJ saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Enrique Loyola, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Laredo LBJ's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8. As for Eagle Pass, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

While Laredo LBJ had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
