Basketball Recap: Great Oaks Takes a Loss

Great Oaks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Freire Charter School Wilmington Dragons. While losing is never fun, Great Oaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 333rd in New Jersey, while Freire Charter School Wilmington is ranked 37th in Delaware).

Great Oaks now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Freire Charter School Wilmington, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.
