Lake-Lehman extended the longest winning streak in Wyoming Valley 2 this week by beating Dallas, 48-41. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Knights.
GAR Memorial was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from eighth to sixth in the league. The Grenadiers vanquished Elmer L. Meyers 21-20 earlier in the week.
Hanover Area's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jacob Peters threw for 135 and 1 touchdown and Stephen Morgan had 102 yards receiving. On the ground Isaiah Taylor contributed 173 yards. Derek Brodginski helped Hanover Area's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 28 yards.

Taylor provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Hanover Area fell to the Trojans. Taylor's favorite target this week was Morgan, who caught 3 passes for 102 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Holy Redeemer's Jimmy Strickland and Eric kerr have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Strickland has thrown for 2,024 yards this season, while kerr has 43 catches for 819 yards. Taylor from Ron Hummer's team leads the league in rushing with 1,044 yards.
Jeff Skursky has rushed for 939 yards on 175 carries so far this year.
Greater Nanticoke Area scaled the state rankings by moving to 444 from 476 this week, the biggest jump in Wyoming Valley 2. Ron Bruza's team climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Hawks 29-26.
