The Holcomb Hornets will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Bernie Mules at 6:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Holcomb won the last time they faced North Pemiscot and Ayla Lawrence did her part to make sure it happened again. Holcomb won by a set and slipped past North Pemiscot 3-2 thanks in part to Lawrence, who had six digs and five aces. She has been hot , having posted three or more aces the last five times she's played.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (107-106) Holcomb actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-11.
