Baseball Recap: Seton Catholic Takes a Loss

Seton Catholic lost against Union County back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals fell 10-6 to the Patriots. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Collin Murray was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Sam Himes, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Seton Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Union County, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic will host Tri at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Union County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winchester Community at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The match will give the Patriots their first taste of in-conference action this season.
