Soccer Recap: Rockport-Fulton Comes Up Short

Rockport-Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-1 to London. While losing is never fun, Rockport-Fulton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 803rd, while London is ranked 222nd).

Rockport-Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for London, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Rockport-Fulton will face off against Santa Gertrudis Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockport-Fulton has given up an average of 5.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. London does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
