Baseball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Troy can now relate to. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kennedy Fighting Irish on Thursday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Troy and nudges their season record down to 18-10. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.

Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kennedy, they will face off against Hillcrest at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Fighting Irish 3.6, the Trojans 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
