Sultan's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 50-49 victory over the South Whidbey Falcons. This was payback for the Turks, who suffered a 50-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why South Whidbey lost, don't look at Cameron McGill. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Voigt, who posted eight points.

Sultan's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for South Whidbey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Sultan will host Orcas Island at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Turks will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for South Whidbey, they will venture away from home to challenge University Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
