Basketball Recap: Olean Takes a Loss

Olean came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 58-38 to the Lackawanna Steelers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Huskies came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Steelers are ranked 456th).

Olean's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Lackawanna, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.

As of now, neither Olean nor Lackawanna have any future games scheduled.
