Boulder waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the Brighton Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Boulder, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Brighton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mia DeJohn, Neva Woodson, Kiri Fogarty-Sears, and Ane Mackey.

Boulder's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight contests. As for Brighton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Boulder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brighton, they will square off against Erie at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
