Basketball Recap: Amanda Elzy Takes a Loss

Amanda Elzy was the 61-41 winner over Edwards when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Amanda Elzy Panthers fell 36-29 to the Edwards Tigers on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amanda Elzy's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Edwards, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Amanda Elzy Panthers challenge the Winona Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edwards, they will head out to take on Gentry at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th.
