Basketball Recap: Tyson Sullivan Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

Brazosport Christian won the last time they faced School of the Woods and things went their way on Friday too. The Brazosport Christian Eagles came out on top against the School of the Woods Wildcats by a score of 60-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Brazosport Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyson Sullivan, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Sullivan a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Speed, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kieran Knight, who posted 11 points and five steals. Knight is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tyler Gwinn, who earned 13 points and five rebounds.

Brazosport Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for School of the Woods, they moved to 10-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Brazosport Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-25 victory against Briarwood on the 7th. As for School of the Woods, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-28 win against Central Christian Academy on the 6th.
