Recap: Villa Park Spartans vs. Millikan Rams
The Millikan Rams typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Villa Park Spartans proved too difficult a challenge. Villa Park walked away with a 28-21 victory over Millikan. The victory was nothing new for Villa Park as they're now sitting on three straight.
Villa Park was led to victory by Dominic Ancich and Carter Christie. Ancich rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns, while Christie rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
Villa Park's win was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 10-1. As for Millikan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Villa Park will head out on the road to face off against Chaminade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Chaminade is ranked 47th, while Villa Park is ranked 45th). Millikan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
