Softball Recap: Richland Springs Gets the Win

Richland Springs's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Menard Yellowjackets as they made off with a 16-5 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Coyotes needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Richland Springs' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Menard, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Richland Springs and Menard will both be playing Medina the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Coyotes will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
