Pinecrest Academy and The King's Academy are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2022, but not for long. The Paladins will take on the Knights at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Pinecrest Academy was beaten by Valor Christian 74-16. The contest marked the Paladins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, The King's Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Jaguars as they made off with a 48-27 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

The King's Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Pinecrest Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Pinecrest Academy might still be hurting after the 50-27 defeat they got from The King's Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Knights' Katherine Lubben, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
