Volleyball Recap: L.W. Higgins Takes a Loss

L.W. Higgins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Academy of Our Lady Penguins. If the Hurricanes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Penguins when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

L.W. Higgins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Academy of Our Lady, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

L.W. Higgins has already played their next contest (against New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Academy of Our Lady, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against St. James on the 15th.
