Baseball Game Preview: Skyline Eagles vs. Monroe Trojans

For the second straight game, Skyline will face off against Monroe. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Skyline turned things around against Monroe on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 4-3.

For Monroe's part, Carson Liedel made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Liedel is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Monroe, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
