The matchup between Paris and Pleasant Grove on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Paris Wildcats blew past the Pleasant Grove Hawks 6-2. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Pleasant Grove with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryan Macchia (2), Naomi Rios (2), Caroline Gillem, and Elizabeth Harper.

Paris pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Pleasant Grove, they moved to 4-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Paris challenge the Mount Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Paris is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.7 goals per game this season. As for Pleasant Grove, they will challenge Sulphur Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sulphur Springs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Pleasant Grove surely won't give up without a fight.
