Volleyball Recap: Christian Fellowship vs. Columbia Independent

Christian Fellowship was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Columbia Independent. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Columbia Independent this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Lindsey Daack paced Christian Fellowship's offense, picking up nine kills. Daack got some help from Aubrey North and her 22 assists. North was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Christian Fellowship's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Columbia Independent, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Fellowship will face off against Chamois at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbia Independent, they will take on Sweet Springs at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
