Softball Recap: Mitchell Find Success

While Mitchell put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Aberdeen Central. The Kernels blew past the Golden Eagles 13-0. Considering the Kernels' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The team relied heavily on Iris Ackman, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Malia Reitzel, who went 1-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.

Mitchell's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Aberdeen Central, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
