Kings Park lost to Islip on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Kingsmen walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Buccaneers. Surprisingly, this marked the Kingsmen's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Kings Park's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Islip, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kings Park is set to take on their familiar foe Shoreham-Wading River at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Islip will face off against rival Rocky Point at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Buccaneers 2.6, the Eagles 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
