Football Game Preview: Naperville North Huskies vs. Naperville Central Redhawks + How To Watch

The Naperville North Huskies will head out on the road to face off against the Naperville Central Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Naperville North will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Naperville North earned a 14-6 win over Lincoln-Way East. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Huskies' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Griffins are ranked fifth).

William Eloe had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Naperville North's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Naperville Central ended up a good deal behind Homewood-Flossmoor on Friday and lost 29-10.

Naperville Central's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Naperville North, their record is now 5-3.

Naperville North couldn't quite finish off Naperville Central in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 and fell 24-21. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
