Volleyball Recap: Cypress Springs Takes a Loss

Cypress Springs's tournament run continued when they took on Almeta Crawford on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rayne Peavy paced Cypress Springs' offense, picking up eight kills. Peavy got some help from Alyssa Suarez and her ten assists. Maddisyn Saa controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cypress Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Almeta Crawford, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Cypress Springs and Almeta Crawford will both be playing Morton Ranch the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Mavericks at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chargers will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
