Lowell had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Caledonia Fighting Scots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

While Lowell might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Caledonia scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Lily Dyer paced Lowell's offense, picking up 16 kills. Dyer got some help from Rylie Barriger and her 16 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Caledonia lost, don't look at Avery Seif. Despite the final result, she had five digs and two aces.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 34-8-3. As for Caledonia, they moved to 22-18 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caledonia, they will challenge Gull Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
