Basketball Recap: Thrive Charter Drops Highest Score of Season Against Notre Dame

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thrive Charter). They came out on top against the Notre Dame Irish by a score of 63-51 on Sunday.

Leading Thrive Charter to victory were Tori Evans and Heziah Kinston. Evans dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Kinston posted 17 points and five steals. Evans has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Moore, who put up seven points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Thrive Charter's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Notre Dame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thrive Charter won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Notre Dame, they will take on Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
