Softball Recap: Lytle Comes Up Short

Lytle lost to Blanco back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-7. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avary Hernandez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Evelyn Quintana was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Lytle's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Blanco, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Lytle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-5 defeat against Incarnate Word on the 24th. As for Blanco, they have also already played their next matchup, a 19-1 loss against Burnet on the 24th.
