Softball Recap: Diamond Wildcats vs. Liberal Bulldogs

In what's become a running theme this season, Diamond gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Liberal Bulldogs as the Diamond Wildcats made off with a 14-4 victory. The win was just business as usual For Diamond, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.

Caitlyn Suhrie made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Suhrie was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Diamond got a big performance out of Grace Frazier, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Talyn Daniels, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Diamond's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Liberal, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Diamond will head out on the road to challenge Fair Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
