Volleyball Recap: Clements Comes Up Short

Clements was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Russellville Golden Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14.

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Russellville, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Clements and Russellville will both be playing Colbert County the next time they take the court. The Golden Tigers will head out to face the Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Colts will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
