The Classical Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Mountain View Mountain Lions to the tune of 34-0 on Saturday. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Kelsey Peterson, who threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards and one TD. Those 37 rushing yards gave her a new career-high.

The Classical Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Mountain View to a completion percentage of just 44%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from five players: Brooklyn Blair, Reagan Harter, Jerrica Thompson, Whitney Meister, and Reese Blackwood, who each logged one passes deflected. The Classical Academy hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.45 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.2 points over those games. As for Mountain View, with the defeat, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-3.
