Softball Recap: Western Reserve Roughriders vs. St. Paul Flyers
Western Reserve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 21-1 to the St. Paul Flyers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flyers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 last Monday.
Western Reserve saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layken Barnhart, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Western Reserve's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for St. Paul, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Reserve will challenge Norwalk at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Paul, they will square off against St. Joseph Central Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
