Volleyball Game Preview: Sargent Farmers vs. Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds + How To Watch

The Sargent Farmers will take on the Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sargent has four straight victories, Sangre de Cristo has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Sargent barely beat Sanford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Farmers blew past the Mustangs 3-0 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Sangre de Cristo came up short against Swink on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Sangre de Cristo started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-10, 25-11, 25-12.

Sargent's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Sangre de Cristo, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Sargent took their victory against Sangre de Cristo when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Farmers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunderbirds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
