Soccer Game Preview: Claxton vs. Metter

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Claxton who was credited with the win on Friday. Claxton got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Screven County's two. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Claxton.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Metter turned things around against Bryan County on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Redskins a 2-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Metter's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Claxton, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Claxton skirted past Metter 2-1 when the teams last played on March 11th. Does Claxton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Metter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
