Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage lost against Frisco last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coyotes came up short against the Raccoons, falling 12-3. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Swyers, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Ryder Rebel was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Frisco, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage will head out to square off against Rock Hill at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Blue Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Coyotes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Frisco, they are taking a road trip to take on Independence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
