Baseball Recap: MICDS Drops Highest Score of Season Against Jennings

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask MICDS). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Jennings Warriors a 19-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Rams have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was MICDS' third in a row) raised their record to 19-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Jennings, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, MICDS will head out to challenge Clayton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jennings does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
