The Sidney Yellowjackets will challenge the Purcell Marian Cavaliers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Sidney is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 58-34 margin over Tecumseh. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Arrows are ranked 418th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Purcell Marian entered their tilt with Wilmington on Wednesday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They claimed a resounding 77-33 win over the Hurricane.

Purcell Marian's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Sidney, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
