Softball Game Preview: Blue Hills RVT Warriors vs. Diman RVT Bengals

Blue Hills RVT hasn't had much luck against Diman RVT recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Bengals at 3:30 p.m. Blue Hills RVT has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southeastern RVT hit Blue Hills RVT with a six-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors came up short against the Hawks, falling 12-6.

Kylie Harer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Cull, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Diman RVT had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 10-5 win over Sandwich on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bengals needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Blue Hills RVT's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Diman RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Blue Hills RVT suffered a grim 19-9 defeat to Diman RVT when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
