Softball Recap: Catskill Comes Up Short

Catskill lost to Maple Hill back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cats came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-4. The Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Catskill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Maple Hill, their record is now 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catskill will host Coxsackie-Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maple Hill, they will welcome Albany at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
