Softball Game Preview: Jefferson Jaguars vs. New Prague Trojans

Jefferson is 1-6 against New Prague since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Jefferson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Jefferson and Chaska had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Hawks on Wednesday. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, New Prague had just enough and edged out Benilde-St. Margaret's 5-4 on Wednesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Red Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win got New Prague back to even at 2-2. As for Jefferson, their record is now 7-1.
