Baseball Recap: Glendora Comes Up Short

Glendora fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Bonita on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 7-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tartans of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

John Seader and Aaron Jacobsen did some serious damage despite the final result: Seader went 3-for-4 with two runs, while Jacobsen got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one double. Tyler Obert was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

The defeat snapped Glendora's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-8 record. As for Bonita, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

While Glendora had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
