Recap: Encampment Tigers vs. North Park Wildcats        
        
		
            
 The Encampment Tigers won the last time they faced the North Park Wildcats, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Encampment managed a  54-48 victory over North Park. Given Encampment's advantage  in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 21st in Wyoming, while North Park is ranked 195th in Colorado), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 When it comes to explaining why North Park lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Dezirae Gonzales. Despite the final result, she  dropped  a double-double on 24 points and ten  rebounds. Gonzales scored a full 50% of North Park's points, the fourth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Brooklynn Weber, who  scored eight points along with three  steals.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Encampment and  bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for North Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Encampment will take on Hulett in a holiday battle at TBD on Friday at. North Park will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Weldon Valley at 2:30  p.m.  on December 16th. Weldon Valley comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
