Recap: Middleton Tigers vs. Clarksburg Rockets
The Middleton Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Clarksburg by a score of 63-50. The win was nothing new for Middleton as they're now sitting on five straight.
Harmony Bell was her usual excellent self, scoring 42 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ty'angela Geanes, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and five blocks.
Middleton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Clarksburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middleton on the road again on Friday and play against Humboldt at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Humboldt and Middleton are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Clarksburg, they will head out on the road to challenge West Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (West Carroll is ranked 359th, while Clarksburg is ranked 341st).
