Arcadia came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Glenbrook Apaches 52-18. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Apaches are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arcadia has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.8 points per game. As for Glenbrook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.
