Soccer Game Preview: Natchitoches Central vs. North DeSoto

The Natchitoches Central Chiefs will venture away from home to square off against the North DeSoto Griffins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Natchitoches Central's offense. They came up short against Pineville on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Rebels are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, North DeSoto also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Caddo Magnet by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Griffins in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.
