Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Nordonia walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Chardon Hilltoppers on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Ej Sopata paced Nordonia's offense, picking up 25 kills. Sopata got some help from Zac Fernandez and his 57 assists. Sopata was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Nordonia's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Chardon, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

Looking ahead, Nordonia will take on Berkshire at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Badgers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Chardon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
