Basketball Recap: Topeka Takes a Loss

Topeka lost against Manhattan last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Topeka Trojans fell 73-66 to the Manhattan Indians. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (65), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Topeka dropped their record down to 1-15-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Manhattan, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Coming up, Topeka is taking a road trip to take on Junction City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Junction City has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three games. As for Manhattan, they will welcome Hayden on Tuesday.
