Volleyball Recap: Blair Oaks Comes Up Short

Blair Oaks lost against Rock Bridge back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons came up short against the Bruins, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-18.

Kylie Hickman paced Blair Oaks' offense, picking up five kills. Hickman got some help from Laney Toebben and her 11 assists. Finally, Avery Trinklein kept Blair Oaks' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Terry Schrock was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Blair Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 14-20. As for Rock Bridge, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-17.

Blair Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rock Bridge, they will take on Hickman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
