Garrett Lyons posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Lyons' strong effort led Edmonson County over Caverna and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
