Basketball Recap: Central Indians vs. Campbell County Camels
Central played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Campbell County Camels and fell 81-50. The Indians were down 69-39 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Campbell County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Truman Degrange out in front who went 6 for 9 en route to 24 points and three steals. Degrange is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Andela, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.
Central has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Campbell County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
Central has already played their next match (against Sheridan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Campbell County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-72 win against East on the 18th.
