Roger Bacon hadn't done well against Cincinnati Country Day recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Roger Bacon Spartans blew past the Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks 62-36. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 26 points or more this season.

Roger Bacon was led to victory by Gabby Ernst and Logan Hasan. Ernst went 7 for 10 on her way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and four steals, while Hasan went 7 of 14 en route to 17 points and three steals. Those 17 points gave Hasan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gussie Hoffman, who posted 11 points.

Roger Bacon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Cincinnati Country Day, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

Roger Bacon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 95-49 defeat against Purcell Marian on the 22nd. Cincinnati Country Day has also already played their next match, a 60-36 loss against Summit Country Day on the 21st.
